I walked into the program knowing I was going to walk out enriched. Being an African American young lady Nannie Helen Burrroughs story truly touched my heart. More over as a person who strrugles with public speaking, being able to see such well spoken accomplished African American women was very exciting and motivating.

Nannie Helen Burroughs was an example of a extraordinaire female. That day when i heard about her, it was like hearing a story that i never knew was possible. She proved that women can do big things if they stand up for it and want it. She was an amazing person in history and i was glad i got the chance to hear about her.
