I am very pleased with this program. I hope that those who enter Project Enrich from 2011-onward will be blessed by God first and foremost and then by the awesome group of Men and Women who support EXCELLENCE in life and education. Also, keeping in touch through phone, face book, and twitter with the students one meets and interacts with is a huge part of the program. Do it and enjoy it. If so, one will make lasting friendships that will last for a life time.

Another thing that this program does is it brings you out of your comfort zone. AT SOME POINT, he or she will have to quit being shy and socialize with the others. I have a brother and three sisters in Friendship from being in this program.

Finally, when you reach Senior year, the cash you receive from being in the program all four years will help you Greatly when college starts. Thank you to Brother Byrd for all those years of structured, mandatory attendance and work. To those who have and will be in charge of this program, I respectfully charge you to do your best for Christ Jesus. I will come back for a lecture or a panel discussion later in the life of the program. Just call me.

The Black History Program was a historic moment and a very valuable teaching moment to all of us. Dr. Nannie Helen Burroughs exemplified the qualities ( dilligence, sefl-respect, discipline and responsibility) that African Americans need to aspire for high achievement in all endeavors in life. Please provide inputs/comments about the program and the affects Dr. Burroughs could have on your life.

Nannie Helen Borroughs was an example of many Christians before her who stood up for Jesus Christ. She was not ashamed of Him on earth, and I have Total confidence that she was rewarded with "Well done, good and faithful student."
